What is the Difference Between the Different Types of ThunderShirt®?
While we have several different styles and colors of ThunderShirt®, they all work the same by providing gentle, calming pressure! Each style of ThunderShirt® is lightweight, machine-washable, and breathable, and they may all help your dog to feel calmer during fireworks, thunderstorms, travel, vet visits, and more! Since each style is equally effective, choose the ThunderShirt® you feel will look best on your pup! And if you would like extra breathability for your pup, try our brand new ThunderShirt® Breeze!
For additional information on how to use the ThunderShirt®, please see this instruction sheet.
For instructions on how to put on a ThunderShirt®, please see the videos on this page. Please note that the Breeze and Polo styles go on differently than the Classic and Sport, so make sure to check out the right video!
How Do I choose the Right Size ThunderShirt®?
For ThunderShirt® Breeze, if your dog is right on the cusp of the weight range indicated in our size chart, we would recommend that you size up. They fit very similarly to our polo style ThunderShirt®, which runs slightly smaller than the Classic and Sport styles.
Sizing can be tricky – do not hesitate to give us a call at (866) 892-2078 and we’d love to make sure you find the right size for your pet.
But I’m looking for a Thunder Jacket…
ThunderShirt® has frequently been referred to as thunder jackets, thunder vests, and thunder coats – if that is what you are looking for, you are in the right place! From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, millions of dogs are already using ThunderShirt®. Yours could be next – we can’t wait for you to be part of the ThunderShirt® family!
